The research Institute is based at the Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University-North La Union Campus.  It occupies a four hectare land located at the western side of the campus. It houses the rearing houses, grainage, laboratories, pest clinic, 4^th instar larvae distribution center filature units as well as mulberry plantations to carry out its operations.

The administration building and a training hall is built in an elevated area five km away from the    National Highway and could be reached by land transport.
